From 1972 until 1995, the Maloney family operated a tool rental facility (originally a Taylor Rental franchise and then independently as A Rental Emporium) in Massillon, Ohio. In 1985, Bob Maloney and his son Tim purchased the party rental inventory of Canton Chair and Table Company and established Canton Chair Rental. Canton Chair Rental moved from its original location on Tuscarawas Street to 20th Street in 1991. In 2000, to accommodate an expanding party rental inventory, Canton Chair Rental relocated to its present 38,000 square foot building at 4850 Southway Street S.W. in Canton, Ohio.
